A dazzling oval brilliant faceted Ethiopian fire opal is set in claw prongs in the solid silver tentacle pendant. The pendant was cast from the tentacle of a small antique octopus specimen, revealing fascinating true to life detail. The pendant is hand finished in polished or oxidized black solid 925 sterling silver, with an interesting spiral gesture clasping the four prong setting. The overall size of the tentacle is about 1.5"x 1"x .75" and hangs on a sturdy handcrafted 1.3mm solid silver 18" wheat chain with a silver tag baring the makers mark PS 925. The opal is a fairly traded Ethiopian fire opal, approximately 1 carat, 8x 6mm natural faceted opal.
