The original solid silver anatomical human heart locket is entirely handcrafted in recycled nickel-free 925 silver. It opens to reveal a meticulously detailed anatomically correct interior. The heart locket is held shut by the trunk of the aorta and hangs on a 1.3mm wheat chain, 28" length, threaded through the superior vena cava and left pulmonary vein, which causes the heart to hang slightly anterioinferiorly. Grip the right pulmonary vein and artery across from the hinge to open and close the locket with a crisp snap.
This original anatomical heart locket is handmade and carefully, repeatedly tested and polished by the artist before shipment to you. A small silver tag on the end of the chain bares the makers marks of authenticity PS 925. You will receive the locket with a yellow polishing cloth for the care of your silver.

The locket can be made in brightly polished or antique finished silver. The first 4 photos depict the antiqued look, the last 3 photos are of the polished locket. Mention in a note at checkout if you prefer polished or a chain length other than 28". Customizations are no problem.
