Hello friends, fans and voyeuristic enemies! Its been a big year here at PSJ HQ, with lots of new jewelry made and dozens of trees planted in Fruit Cocktail Forest, (currently being managed by a flock of silly geese.) I have been unusually quiet, blog-wise, because living in a secluded cabin in the woods is really getting to me. Kidding! I am genetically 60% hill troll, so it never could. Neglect of this blog notwithstanding, there is plenty happening here, including a new series of one of a kind spiderwebs, and an expansive new top-secret collection in the works. Some of the biggest show-stoppers in my new series of sculptural Orbweaver spiderweb jewels have just returned from a trunk show at Goldbug, Pasadena, so be sure to peruse the gallery online! This one is my favorite.
I am also now taking orders for unique bridal jewelry, eager to apply my hand-engraving and stone-setting experience to some heirloom jewels. I have been working on a technique of fusing two metals together, called "laminate." I think it is a great starting point for wedding ring designs. I also now have the ability to do inside-ring engraving of text and dates, a meaningful way to personalize your new wedding set.
NO HINTS!!! I'm not giving any hints as to what the forthcoming collection is based on, so unless you have been paying especially close attention to social media, you couldn't possibly know what is around the corner...... The new collection will be unveiled sometime in October. I will have all of the new jewels plus entirely new spiderwebs available this December at the One of a Kind Show, Chicago. I will also have a new case of experimental designs that will be on sale. I won't be at Renegade this year, so OOAK is your last chance to give me high-fives in 2018, and catch all the new designs in-person.
Keep your eyes peeled for the new collection debut and details on where to find me at one of a kind. Thank you for reading this blog post, and for your interest in my work (especially you, enemy!)
