The 18k yellow gold and diamond anatomical heart locket is breathtakingly detailed, entirely handmade to a traditional standard of craftsmanship. The trunk of the aorta acts as a snap holding the heart securely shut. The heart opens from the right pulmonary vein to reveal a highly detailed interior, hanging slightly anterio-inferiorly like the heart within the human body, from an 28" solid 18k yellow gold 1.3 mm wheat chain that is threaded through the left pulmonary vein and superior vena cava. The pendant has a delightful heft, with a chain that is well-suited to its dimensions 1.5"x .75"x .5". The necklace is stamped with the makers mark PS 18k.
