Handcrafted necklace depicting an oligodendrocyte glial nerve cell, a critical support cell of the human nervous system. The silver nerve cell pendant is 3x3cm, available on a 1.5mm 18" chain. Each glial cell necklace is cast in hand carved cast and finished by the artist in recycled sterling silver and tagged with the maker’s marks PS 925.
Available set with or without gemstone nucleus; 3mm moonstone, 2mm blue or Green diamond, or without a gemstone.
Other gemstones are available by custom order. It is possible to make this piece with "birthstones," garnet, amethyst, aquamarine, opal, peridot, etc. For alternate gemstones select the moonstone version and make note at checkout of the gemstone you would prefer.
